The Compliance Committee is responsible for monitoring the compliance by member states with the terms of the Compact and the Commission's rules for developing appropriate enforcement procedures for the Commission's consideration.

Summer Foxworth has worked for the Colorado Division of Youth Corrections for 16 years and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Summer started her career with the Division of Youth Corrections in 1994 as a Security Services Officer; in 1997 Summer accepted a position in the Staff Development Office where she trained new employees during a two-week training academy. Summer came to the ICJ office in 2000. Summer served on the Executive Board for AJCA for numerous years, and was awarded the William L Frederick Award from AJCA in 2006 for outstanding service, contribution and dedication to the Juvenile Compact and Corrections. Summer is a native of Colorado. She has been married to Cornelius for 12 years and they have 2 children, Cornelius, aka "Deuce," age 10, and Nyema, age 7.
