Join us for a Wednesday Workshop focused on Children Missing from Care, presented by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)'s Children Missing from Care Program Manager, Kimberley Parks-Bourn, on October 28, 2026, 1–2 PM ET.
Children who go missing from state care require a timely, coordinated response among child welfare professionals, law enforcement, and other partners.
During this live training, participants will learn more about NCMEC's role in supporting cases involving children missing from care and the resources available to professionals working to help safely locate and recover missing children.
NCMEC provides support that includes case management, analytical assistance, poster distribution, technical assistance to law enforcement, and coordination with child welfare and other agencies involved in a missing-child case.
This training is intended for Compact Office staff, field staff, and other stakeholders involved in the supervision and case management of juveniles under the Interstate Compact for Juveniles.
