On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, the Racial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee will present a training session on Home Evaluation Considerations for Unconventional Families. In 2023, the committee published a best practice resource with the same title and proposed amendments to ICJ Rule 4-104, which were adopted and effective as of April 1, 2024. "Ms. Sheets continues to go above and beyond the call of duty for Wyoming ICJ whenever there is a runaway/return situation presenting itself in her area. Ms. Sheets is a Social Services Supervisor with the Department of Family Services in the Carbon County area and along with her regular duties, she is always willing to go the extra mile if extra communication is needed to gather more information about the juvenile(s) needing to be returned. One example of note is when a juvenile ran from his home state and was giving a false story to local law enforcement. Ms.

The new "Detailed Justification" required data field when in the Home Evaluation the field officer selects "Not Recommended" in the Supervision Recommendation.
